The library of Muskiz, opened in June 1987, is on the first floor of the Muskiz culture centre and is one of many services the centre provides.
It is open to all and can be used by institutions on request. Access is free. However, certain services are only available to people with library cards. The library card is personal and non-transferable card. It is required to avail of the borrowing service. The card has no photograph and is issued free of charge.
Using the card, it is now possible to access the collections of public libraries throughout the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, listed in the joint on-line catalogue of the NLSBC.

Monday to Friday:
10 am - 1 pm.
4 pm - 7:45 pm.
Summer (june 24 - september 15):
9 am - 2 pm.
Saturday and Sunday closed.

The library is open to all members of the community.
Access and borrowing
Access is free. If you would like to borrow materials, you will have to bring a photograph and take out a reader's card. This is our borrowing policy.
Services
Consultation and borrowing of printed and electronic materials, on-line consultations of official gazettes (BOPV, BOB, BOE, etc.) and digital documents, reading room, photocopy service, catalogue, etc.

Use this service to get any information or documents you need for your studies, hobbies and research, whether it is in the library or not. We can also help you with any questions you have about using the library services or resources.

Using the “Pregunte las bibliotecas responden” free public information service, which is staffed on a cooperative basis by 21 public libraries in 17 Autonomous Communities throughout Spain, coordinated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport's General Office of Books and Libraries, through the General Sub-Directorate for Library Coordination.
