Salazar Palace

Salazar Palace
Next to Muñatones Castle. The facades are carved with the coats of arms of the Muñatones and Salazar families.
Enterrado Palace (18th century)
On the opposite side of the road to the Salazar Palace. On the facade, above a balcony, is the crest of the Muñatones and Salazar families.
Treto Palace
This building stands on the left-hand side of the Santander road. Above the door are the crests of Treto, Quadra, Montaño and Llano, one in each compartment.
Alvarado Palace (18th century)
On the right-hand side of the road leading to Santander, a few metres before the Treto Palace. The facade contains the coats of arms of Alvarado, Quadra and Mollinedo.
Lavalle Palace
Before the Alvarado Palace, on the Santander road. Over the door of the central balcony is the coat of arms of Lavalle, Cortés, Zugasti y Ortiz y Cartabio
Llarena Palace (1727)
Located on the road leading to San Juan from Somorrostro to Pobeña, on a turn-off to the left. On the facade, practically under eaves, is the coat of arms of Llarena, Salcedo, Quadra and Gortázar.
Villar Palace
Located opposite the church of San Julián of Muskiz. On the facade facing the road is a coat of arms of great artistic value, with the crest of the Villars.
Musques-Muñatones Palace
This building is located near the church of San Julián, on the same side of the road. In the central facade, topped by a neo-classical pediment, there is a beautiful crest with the coat of arms of Asturias-Muñatones, Salazar and Musques.
González or Sota Palace (1726)
Above the central balcony is the coat of arms of the González, Melida, Treto and Llano families.
Memerea House
In the district of Memerea, on a turn to the left from the road leading to Sopuerta. On the facade is the coat of arms of the Sobrado, Mollinedo, de la Puente and Rozas families.
Sendeja House (1747).
Located on the road leading to Santander, before the Lavalle Palace. The coat of arms of the Sendeja and Quadra families stands at the point where two houses of different heights meet.
Oyancas House (18th century)
Located on the continuation of the road containing the Llanera Palace, where the paved road ends.
Musques-Murga House
The building stands on the left-hand side of the road leading from the González Palace to the church of San Julián. The coat of arms of Musques-Murga is carved on the facade.
Barandica House
Located above the road leading from San Julián to Pobeña.
Álvarez de la Bodega House
The house stands on a hill above the Unfinished Palace (Palacio Inacabado), in the district of Pobeña. The facade contains the two coats of arms of the Salazar and La Bodega families.
Urioste House
Located near the church, on the other side of the road. On the side opposite the church is the Sobrado-Salazar coat of arms.
Achiga House
Located in the main street of Pobeña. On the lintel of one window there are the two coats of arms of the Aciaga and La Bodega families.
Salazar House (1646)
Located in the Revilla district, with access from the district of El Valle. On the facade, over a balcony, there are two coats of arms - one of the Salcedo family (with some variations) and the other of the Salazars. |
